so fancy & tall you are in your black shoes, red overcoat, & fur hat & you are almost ready for church but first,
you gather oranges & bananas & push this grocery cart with weary eyes that have grown smaller with time.
as you walk deeper into the aisles of this store & church & world, i call upon orange peels & banana trees to touch your eyes (please) & to refresh & free you to be the fullest of the tall fruit that you really are.
