soft balls of forgiveness
i was interviewed saturday on the get real radio station 107.1 & listened to it later with my mom, who had missed it. i heard myself say "um" maybe a hundred times! oi! well...bless my 11 year old son who later told me that "um" is just thinking & there's nothing wrong with it. i'm working on taking that in.Monday, February 1, 2010

taking in full skies
...inspired by jenn, from http://www.kindovermatter.blogspot.com/ & how she signed off her email to me: "peace to you, skies full." i have been thinking anew about how i sign off. how about you, dear ones? sending tall trees filled with shining light, rachel xo

the big picture
at the beautiful north shore of lake superior, i stood at a window watching a storm whip up the waves into what looked more like an ocean...i was struck by a comment made by a family member that she loves remembering that we only see a part of the whole and that above the storm clouds the sun is always shining.
