OMG...so so true! it truly is about the *journey* however you define that. lately my journey has involved not sleeping so I've been spending that time exploring other things that I don't have time for during *normal* hours.... there is something very liberating about being on your very own unique schedule. :-) happy day to you!

Hmmm funny...this morning I was talking with my Mom/guru and I said "I am tired of thinking that I am broken and I have to be fixed." Today, I am exploring the idea that I have all I need in me right in this moment to really live this life. And I am so grateful for all the other wonderful souls on the journey with me...
Big Love to you, Rachel !

Hm...
Maybe not everyone is broken...
But with all issues in life it is what we do with it that matters...

Rachel...I so look forward to these Monday posts. I always walk away with a heart a little bit fuller & a mind a little more open.

You are a treasure.

HERE HERE! or should it be HEAR HEAR...LISTEN LISTEN...OH OH well SAID, and love your art work with this profoundness...it lightened up! xo

i couldn't agree with this more. it's so easy (tempting even) to dwell on how broken we are, and live there, ashamed of it. what an epiphany it is to CALL it like it is, and be able to live with it shame free. and then move on.

Oh....that is so true! ♥

It's a beautiful wonder,
the offering up of permission
to her soul
to be unashamed of the breaking,
the gentle kindness she extended
to herself.
It's a thing of beauty,
and I feel healing happening
just reading and "seeing" it happen
in front of that door.
Thanks for giving us that
powerful peek:)

Yes, we can choose to put the broken pieces back together to create a mosaic...something uniquely beautiful. As we each are...one of a kind.

I was making a new doughnut today--and it too has a door! Yes, we are all in this together, Rachel.

Boy, isn't that the truth? You illustrate it in your usual wonderful fashion!

P.S. There is a very nice joint jewelry swap done by myself and Robin Thomas (A Nest with a View). We would love to have you come and sign up.

Your heart is so open wide. It is so beautiful to see. I love that we are all broken and flawed and silly and lovely.

and I love you!

I LOVE this! So would the counselor I used to work for. Yes, we all have our broken spots, but they add so much more beautiful character.
