crows

loving such glimpses..xox

(& also! i've been having trouble leaving comments on some blogs. i was told, for my own, to go to "settings"-"comments"-"comment form placement" & then change to "pop-up window" & that's seemed to help with people being more free to comment here. hope that helps!)

Hi Rachel
You are such a good runner! are crows a bit of a pest in your part of the world? they are here. They are very intelligent though. If we throw bread for the birds, it's the crows who are smart enough to pick it up and dunk it in our birdbath to make it nice and soft and easy to swallow! hmmm, that's not why we put a birdbath in the garden, but it does make me smile. have a happy week. Thanks Rachel, there are still some people who don't know this and I send them emails to tell themwhen I can! I can't believe Blogger still haven't sorted this problem out and it leaves it to us to sort it!
Your drawing is so lovely!

So inspirational that you are a runner! I love the way you drew the sun running with you and the crows. Thanks for sharing the comments link. I have had trouble with that also.

I don't know if I would like the crows to follow me - I suppose they gave you an unexpected glimpse, a new way of seeing - as you pounded the pavements.

Everyone could use a good running partner. Yours just have wings. They are so smart, it wouldn't surprise me if they were wagering how far you'd run that day. :)

I heard about an app that turns running into a game. When zombies come out, you have to run faster to get away from them. Ha! How clever!

I LOVE that you had this acCaWpaniment this morning! I figure I'm on the right track when I'm traveling the same path as a crow. (something about 'as the crow flies' or something) :D
I love this art it inspired! cheers,t

reminds me of John Lennon's
song "Blackbird"
"...you were always waiting for this
moment to arrive."
Sweet songs and blackbird grace
to you
in your running
and life-living
(with loads of love),

I like blackbirds because they remind me of the song, "You were always waiting for this moment to arrive. Blackbird, fly .."

If only we could borrow their wings for a bit of our running! :)
