I read recently in a book that one should try to say "yes" to one's partner more. Sometimes it's easier to say no, but yes, can be so uplifting and encouraging when you hear it from your Love. yes, yes, yes.
and so good to find you, too, miss rachel!! your artwork is absolutely charming.....and yes, yes to all you've said here!! thanks so much for stopping by my blog and saying hello... ! :))
Thanks for popping in to my blog, Rachel! Your drawings are lovely - so simple, yet powerful - a perfect way to illustrate cummings's words. I have been thinking about the "yes" message - being in a very unpleasant situation currently where we (my husband & I) have had to say an emphatic "no". Saying "yes' would have been easier, but not the right way to go, we believe. Saying "no" will have a long-lasting effect - and some of that effect might be uncomfortable and akward for us in the years to come. Sigh. But I DO say "yes" to living life with integrity!
rachel I'm so happy you popped over because it brought me to you and your wonderful art and words. holy moly! I'm completely enamored by your style. I'll be back regularly! Yes yes yes!
*shona* it is astounding how many people have entered your giveaway/such a happy party!! with bright sunshine to you, rachel :)
*anairam* thank you for your affirming words. & now i step out to a field & pick a handful of daisies. they aren't much but they are all that i have & i place them with best wishes into your lovely hands of integrity.
*inner toddler* thank you so much! & i am melted by your holy moly marvelousness & will return your dear way as well!
*valentina* i had previously written of gratitude for receiving a "yes yes" & now find myself with such wonder in receiving a "love love". thank you!
*yasmina* & thank you for your double really! ..so encouraging...thank you.
*esti* oooh, so lovely to hear from you! ...i've also heard that there are times when we need to say no & in those instances, we are actually saying yes to ourselves! & please send love to your guitar woman!! i just love her!
*jill* & i send you mighty encouragement & yes to your beauty!!!
*ophelia* & i will definitely check in often with your blog & beauuuuutiful pages/such a gift to discover shining you!!
