bleach pens

last weekend i got to play at jen's house.
she hosted an art party w/lots of fun new tools
to experiment with.
i tried out the bleach pen.
lots of fun to wash it away & see what emerged underneath!
lots of love to all that's emerging for you. xo

prayer wall

i've found myself fascinated by prayer walls across the world. i've never seen one in person/only read of them & seen images of these precious & plentiful papers tucked collectively into the heart of a wall. i now add mine to our blog wall. feel free to tuck yours in too if you so wish.
(etsy added w/love) xo

a true story

remember my post about deer life (dated june 11, 2010)? well, one recent morning, i had my first cup of coffee & imagined a deer standing right next to me & got teary & it felt beautifully real.
i left from there to head off to the grocery store & on my way back...

i saw a deer. i pulled off the road & talked to this beautiful being for a moment & looked into eyes that reflected everything good & lovely & true & full of promise. oh my goodness, imagine all YOU sit near! xox

(& more art coming next week/i promise!)

orange blossoms

i shared with a friend how i wonder if heaven could smell like lily of the valley & asked if she ever thought about what heaven smells like & she quick as lightening responded "yes! like orange blossoms!". i now wonder what yours might smell like.. xo

passing on the love

i found this egg at the base of a tree, closed,
while on a walk this week.
i picked it up & kept walking,
holding it in my hand,
wondering wildly
about it's yokey message
& a half-block later
i opened it & found
a paper guitar & pick.
i now sit with this
new friend & wonder
about the music that might
keep rising, informing, inspiring me...
& i remain open & thankful.
oh, don't we all need
such gifts from the sea,
from a tree,
from deeply beautiful
you & me?!
passing on the love...xo
