look at what's down this aisle!

i was grocery shopping at target, when suddenly i was stunned by the sight of a little girl's hands. her mom painted them & signed her arm with a heart, comma, mom. oh how our very lives are a canvas for art & love.

That is really pretty. Looks like textile design.

How absolutely fascinating!! Ah, the quote by Thoreau "The world is but a canvas for the imagination...."...and so are our bodies, minds, and every minute of our juicy lives.

Hmm, maybe I'll go do some painting!! :)

(Ooops - forgot to tell you last night...I'm LIVE!! :) I'll email you w/more details!)

Those hands are beautiful! We have done hanna art before, but it never comes out t like that! Maybe with experience? After seeing that, I think we need to try again!
(nice to "meet" you!)

That is so beautiful! And fun! Makes me smile! I once had a henna peace sign tattoo put on my hand but I smudged it before it had time to dry and so it was a very short lived work of art. :)

wow! that's so awesome. at first I thought it was henna- and the title, was tricking me into thinking it was tradition henna for a wedding, BUT it's so much cooler!! what a sweet mom.

That mom rocks and so do you for acknowledging her and her daughter right there in the grocery store!

oh to have a child that would sit still long enough...
painting fingernails ONE color is about our limit in our crazy household.
i, too, love that you took the time to stop and be inquisitive...how pleased must that little girl have been to know she was the center of your attention and that it was because she was BEAUTIFUL.
do you ever STOP making people feel like they are floating?
do you?
float float float...that.s all folks are doing around rachel awes!
(lucky us!)
happy body canvas painting treasure hunts to you!
