Hee. You should never ask me about books. I have lists that are miles long. My little sister and I were just reminiscing about those Sunfire romances that we read when we were little; each one was about a girl in a specific period of history. I loved those.

Some of my most favorites are Atlas Shrugged, The Untethered Soul, The Prophet, Harry Potter (all) .. Some recent favorites are The Happiness Project, The Joy of Possibility, and this series by Elizabeth Haydon about a girl named Rhapsody.

I adored Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by john Berendt! I am a huge Savannah nut, but had never been until after reading the book. It's a MUST read!

I also love Spiritual Fitness by Nancy Mramor, Ph.D. It's a wonderful book about embracing your true soul!

Of course, I am a book fanatic, so it's hard to list just one or two!

I love to read!! I read around 2 books a week, so naming a favorite...
pretty impossible! Even to list my favorite authors would be really difficult. I do like Ted Dekker a lot. So easier to tell you what I am reading this week: Sizzling Sixteen by Janet Evanovich and The Red Queen by Philippa Gregory.
Loved the book art!
Oh, and I bought the latest copy of Artful Blogger last week. Congratulations! That is awesome!

Old favorites include Cat's Eye by Margaret Atwood and A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving. A couple of recent favorites were The Hour I First Believed by Wally Lamb and Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides. And The Help.

As has been already mentioned, the stack by the bed is bigger than it should be--too many great books, not enough time...

My reading comes and goes in spurts, depending on how crazy life gets....but my favorite of ALL TIME is A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving.

ahh..such a grand question and to peruse everyone's ideas.. i too have almost finished THE BOOK THIEF, and even though i think it's a young adult book, this old adult thinks it's one of the most wonderful books ever...it is so full of "meaningful meat" to think about, yet not get too heavy with the past as sweet sweet humor enters in (i think i would love to be in a book club with this one).
story to share: our daughter loved for me to read out loud to her well into her teens...and she was an astute and avid reader herself..we treasure those times still! xoxo you're the best baby!!
