grow in

the deeper i grow in,

the brighter coral i see

& technicolor rainbow fish

& i can actually hear my

heart beating

& breath breathing

& then, & sweeter then,

can i love you each better.

Beautiful! This reminds me of when I was a child... When people asked me: what do you want to become when you grow up? I always answered: Me!

Love Onneke's comment ! I was the kid who thought "What do you want me to be ?" but as an adult, I am finally growing IN to myself ! Yay !

I hear my breath beating
while I soak in this fresh water
until my toes wrinkle
with deeper shades of love.
Feels as if my soul
has been massaged.
Ever so much thanks, rachel
Huge love,
Jennifer

Awww, Rachel! What a fantastic thing to say -- grow in, not up! I feel so energized from looking over your treasure trove of drawings over the past few months. You see so much beauty and derive so much pleasure from even the smallest, simplest things in life, and you make us all richer by sharing your view. And a BIG congratulations for being in Artful Blogging! YAYYYYY!

p.s. I love the name Poppy, don't you?!

Okay, I need to go paint now.
