see anew

sometimes going somewhere else
(in my case recently, northern mn woods)
helps me to see anew
& this began w/the encouragement to
slow down
& look up

& all around me
& always within~
sharing now
such branches
w/you
& love
to what filters through
your eyes.

so beautiful Rachel. I have a favorite photo I took in vt a few years ago...I was at a stop sign and beyond the stop sign is a building that has been painted with a lovely mural of a Buddha...STOP...slow down...pay attention to THIS moment.

I hate the cold but how trees look when they are covered in a blanket of white just makes me smile from ear to ear. These pictures are beautiful. xoxo

i can see sunshine and blue skies above me right now.

i see feet covered with dirt from playing outside

hands, covered with dust from brushing horses

soul, filled with joy from spending time in my homeland

happy new year to you friend (from under southern skies)

(photos from nz on my blog now)

*gasp*! is this the same road we walked down in october?! it's so gorgeously blanketed.... with new life hiding below. sort of how i'm feeling right now in fact, like something under the surface is taking shape... mmm... i must remember to take it slow, easy, trust, and savor my seasons!

loooove,
