Good for you Rachel!! I have never enjoyed running but do love to hit the trail and go for brisk walks! And am looking forward to the spring thaw to get back out there! Love this piece! :)
I don't run either... heart condition... but this pic exudes independence and exploration.. love it!
"...through the depths..."it makes me wonder if I'm running deeply in my own life.today I will try to cherish and live life more DEEPLYthank you
deeply wonderful Rachel! I want to start running this spring too. It's a wonderful outlet to relieve any stress and just time to think(O: Happy day(O:
I ran all through my twenties and had every injury known to woman. But Oh How I Loved Running! In my dreams I ran and ran and ran without pain! I walk/jog now and feel good about that. ENJOY! xo, Cheryl
I have this picture of this gorgeous red hair flying in the breeze as you run with free abandon!!
I love the idea of running though I'm more of a brisk walker with the odd running spurt thrown in! I hope you get chance to run again soon. :D XXX
ahhh, running is so freeing! i had a back injury a couple of months ago that put running on the 'not to do' list, but hopefully i will get back to it in the next couple of months. i truly miss it and how much it does for the spirit also. love and hugs to you!
Wow, I'd never thought of running in that way before! Thanks for the insight, I plan to ponder it for some time to come... and may even try it out by digging out my running shoes... maybe!!
This is so relevant for me right now...lots of running to get ready for that half marathon I signed up for. And, like your drawing, lots of puddles here in Oregon at the moment.I love the idea of running through the very depths of my life...while I run tomorrow, I will enjoy this beautiful shift in perspective.Thank you, lovely one.
This is so cool, I love it!
Your depths make my depths swoon with love...I have found that feeling in dancing before but never running. I find it in my art often times too. I think whatever takes us there is an incredible gift.Run, Lovely One, run...
what fun - and running is great fun too, if you're disciplined enough to add it to your routine. I'm so bad about exercise - I always have great plans to be good about it and add it to my schedule for a little while, but then I seem to forget about it :)
sweet one...i find it SO interesting that as i read through ALL the comments on this, again, so beautiful piece of yours...that many women have either been injured or hurt from "running".orthat many of the other women are "fearful" of "running"orthat many of these women "want" to run but "dont" for whatever reason.it takes your metaphor of "running" and sticks it right in my brain to ponder....hmmmmmm.(i know. i know. i am NOT usually this deep, but my brain has been on vacation!)love you and hope you know it!hand over heartc
What a wonderful metaphor! Hills and valleys make a run more interesting. Here's wishing you an everlasting runner's high, my dear friend. Love from my very depths!
great illustration as you run..cannot do it myself but the fast walking works for me...move is the key ..and you show it well!!
Run girl, run!!! :-)Do stop sometimes and look around...
Once a runner..always a runner..I am so glad my body lets me continue...though sometimes I slow down to a jog...it is all good!
Oy If I did this I may trip a lot! :) have a beautiful Saturday, Rachel. Tsup!
cheers to the depths and what we learn thereand to running and breathingxx
Wow! I love that...and your comment Love to each of your depths... what a gift across the screens. xoxo
oh i used to run...that was before Lupus caught me - now sadly i run no more but can still walk and get outside with the sun on my face :)xox
I love to run even when it feels less than glorious- it's the closes thing we have to flight. ;)
