magical carpet

this was inspired by hearing

of a child who

dressed up as a

magic carpet for halloween.

i heard this while knitting/being/chatting

with lovely women at a retreat.

ohhhh, the magic of needles clicking

& imaginations traveling.

(& congratulations to kristina/winner of greeting cards)

yes....I can see it.
reminds me of these lines
from Steppenwolf's "magic carpet ride"
- "we don't know what
we can see; why don't you tell your
dreams to me."
And oh the places you'll go and see:)
I do so love the way you see!

why wait, indeed !
How sweet to retreat with women all there for the same purpose - to be in this moment, to be with each stitch.
They were lucky to have you with them, dear heart.
Happy Monday !

Love this! The lines, the stretch, the thought of helping. The creativity in the child who dressed up as one is wonderful.
And thank you for the awesome opportunity at your cards.
