Through heaven's eyes...oh how I love that. And these new drawings...they open my heart wider. And you and your interview in Sprout...big gasps here--I loved every word you had to say, Rachel--I soaked them up and they're living sweetly inside now.

I adore the YOU-ness of you.

I love your wonderful ears
And how they perk up when they hear a string of magic
And how your amazing imagination takes that string of magic
And transforms it into dancing lines and colors
So that we may feel that magic too.

WOOOHOOOO on the feature! That is absolutely awesome! Congrats!

It is not always easy to join into life's dance - but it is worth trying - if we succeed we are very lucky! :-)
Great thoughts Rachel!

The meal has been eaten.
The kitchen is clean.
The leftovers are stashed.
The walk has been taken.
Everyone is happy and fed and blessed.
Now I have the time to stop by.
On this Thanksgiving Day, I wanted to tell you that I am thankful for you; for this blog; for the inspiration you provide here. Sending you much love, Relyn

as always Rachel your art is beautiful...as I was reading the words I was thinking, these sound so familiar...it has been a while since my girls (now teenagers) watched that movie over and over again. No wonder I remembered them deep in the recesses of my mind. Truly, they are beautiful lyrics. Congratulations on being part of this magazine:-)

I adore the Prince of Egypt. One of my favorite movies growing up. The alligators, however, thoroughly freaked me out. Great art! Whimsical and lovely.
