OKAY!!!!!!!!!! i didn't mean to post this yet!! i was busy re-arranging some posts & dates & waaaa laaaa, this one insisted on SHOWING UP NOW. (notice the intended post date is for 2011). but i can't edit it out!!! stay tuned for my post this MONDAY. maybe it's all meant to be.
I LOVE the scrolled back peek into the next chapter (2011) ....such a hopeful, hopeful visual! Now THAT'S a tree of a different color. Closer to the heartwood:) -Jennifer
That is pretty cool that it needed to show up now. But all I can think of is that you are so far ahead in posts that you are into 2011? omg. You HAVE to tell me how you do that!
ohhhh, lori (& all!). i'm not all posted up to 2011! i was simply flipping a couple posts to the next year...wanting to wait on them... as i was thinking up a little change in structure here (see this coming mon's post).
& gyspysticks (& all!), i just found the tree looking like this... so i was thinking it happened on its' own... hmmm. xoxox!!
ahhhh, yes.....here's to happy accidents, happy mis-postings.....and happy bark peeling back to reveal another beautiful chapter in our book of life!!! enjoy your weekend, sweetness!! xox, :))
Beautiful! Nature is amazing, it never fails to renew my sense of hope!I just saw you are a psychologist, I am going through my last year of grad school to become a Marriage and Family Therapist. Do you use art in your practice? Also, reading that you are a "Harold and the Purple Crayon" fan made me smile BIG! Have a good day!
Hello! I have always loved white birch trees, especially in the snowy winter time when you can see all of the subtle color in their bark. When I saw the post date I thought that it was something intentional with hidden meaning, the two trees standing as number 11 and the roll of bark reminding me of a scroll...as the book of your life. See. my mind was trying to make sense of it, and then you posted that it was a happy accident. I love that!! Wonderful blog and work too!! xo
Well, I'm glad this posted anyway, because it's an awesome photo. Wow, I never knew it was so dark under that top layer. How fascinating, the way it's all peeled back!
hee hee... my little artsygirl just did the same thing with her freshly painted wall. i went to tuck her into bed a few nights ago and found a huge spot where she's chipped away at the pink and revealed the green underneath...
