all aboard!

for some reason, pretty ferris wheels kept going through my imagination for a while & how life-giving it can be to engage with such a ride. i know it can be both beautiful & scary for some people. if you can bear the risk, anyone care to take a ride with me? xo

The top seats on the wheel appear hoisted up above the wheel. Usually they hang. Does that have a poetic meaning? A sort of elevated place to be?? And eight spokes? I'm over thinking right? Just enjoying your work at different level! Highs and lows.. going round and round! Yup that's fun!

Hi Rachel, thanks for stopping over to say hi...I'm happy that you did.

If you like ferris wheels, have you seen Tammy Smith's work? Her 3-D pieces are spectacular and so well worth taking a look.

Rachel, Your art exudes love and positivity! Have you thought about making your art into postcards? I love the idea of your images touching all who handle the mail (a ferris wheel of sorts!), since I LOVE sending mail. I do plan to visit your Etsy shop this Summer; I just have to narrow down what I want :)

Lisa P.S. Thanks for your kind words at my Doughnut "shop"!

D'lightful! I love ferris wheels, and I love the happy colors on yours. A couple of summers ago, I got caught up on the tippy top of one, and a thunderstorm started rolling in. That was a bit nerve wracking, but i'm happy to report that I did not get electrified.
