i have walked through my moms' t-shirts,

drying in her kitchen entryway

to begin painting flowers on her cabinets

+ cleared off the clutter that was above + below.

(next, i will bring blues into those blooms)

walking into each others lives, through all that it is,

is not always easy work, but it is the work of this easel,

leaping

our family just returned from a paradise trip to kauai, hawaii.

this was huge. never have the four of us traveled like this.

we adventured far + wide.

+ i lept ~ even though frightened at moments.

i lept because i was there. because i could. because i felt my heart beat when i did.

+ i am left with gratitude. + left with knowing we all have it in us to leap.

+ rainbows really do show up when we do.

library love notes

i interupt the regular scheduled programming of "again in april" to share a window from my weekend...a few sweet friends + i met at our local library to create + leave lil' love notes in books. it was soul-fun to select words that would travel to dear hearts + choose which books to place them into. so many genres to choose from + we did: childrens, cooking, health, poetry, etc. my favorite book i left one is was "are you there god? it's me, margaret." by judy blume (anyone remember that one?!)

the words we offer each other are powerful + matter so very deeply.

i forever thank you for each of yours. xo
