prayer wall

i've found myself fascinated by prayer walls across the world. i've never seen one in person/only read of them & seen images of these precious & plentiful papers tucked collectively into the heart of a wall. i now add mine to our blog wall. feel free to tuck yours in too if you so wish.

oh rachel...i had the most wonderful opportunity to see blessed prayers tucked lovingly and hopefully and faithfully into the cracks of the wailing wall in jerusalem..it was awe inspiring...one of those "take your breath away" moments. thank you so much for bringing this to the surface of my memory. i haven.t thought of this for years.
i LOVE how you inspire me.

That's a lovely thought. I really like the colors you use. It was such a pleasure to meet you on Saturday. You made me smile. And I needed that.

prayers are POWERFUL, count me in...this is just a priceless painting!!!
our kids at the school i work at put their family names, with some little ribbon or such, like grandma, or their dog that died on our chain link gate...whenever i go to unlock and lock it at night, it reminds me to PRAYER! xo

I will tuck in a prayer for Jen, whose blog I read, I just read that she lost her mother. So sad. {The Cottage Nest}
Did you see Secret Life of Bees? The little gal who had her own wall where she tucked in everything that bothered her.
You have to turn it all over, somewhere.
love, Cheryl
