sand dollars

someone brought me back a sand dollar from a beach. i set it on my desk & it set itself on my heart. i share these riches here with each of you.

i search the beach with my girls
in pursuit of the sand dollar!!

i remember finding one and giving
it to this little girl because i wasn't sure
if she had ever seen one before...it made me smile...

i can never find them intact.
they are always in pieces.

how beautiful to bring some of the outside in.

i don't think i've ever actually seen a sand dollar fresh from the sand before. i've only seend ones that have been prettied up to be paper weights or ornamental things.

Genius! Love this! I wish sand dollars would also pay the bills. Although, when you're in touch with that spark within - which you are - the sand dollars and real dollars find their way to you!
