Reminds me of a country song by Merle Haggard:

"Eatin' rainbow stew in a silver spoon
underneath that sky of blue
We'll all be drinkin' free bubble-ubb
and eatin' that rainbow stew."

Rachel, Just so you know, I am taking all of your beautiful images in, I just don't always comment.

Something I was hoping you could share with me, and everyone else, if you don't mind...

You're inspiring me to create my own doughnut images, but I'm having difficulty with the supplies I have. Can you tell me what
a.paper b.paints c.brushes you use?

I love the rich colors you use, they are the tones/shades I love too.

If you want to e-mail me this information, you can do that, too. My address for my DD Project is doughnutdreams@yahoo.com

I would appreciate your help with finding more suitable tools for my art. Thank you for inspiring me to pick up my own brush.

Lisa : )

*dear lisa and all* i simply go to a local art store and find pretty markers and paper that works well with markers! there are some exceptions, like i used oil pastels on my jan. 20 every last lock posting and acrylics on my dec. 1 all the lights are on posting. the rest of the best of materials is straight from the heart! hope that helps and happy creating!

Congratulations on opening an Etsy store...Will you consider custom/personalized orders? I look forward to your opening day!

You can see that you create straight from the heart, Rachel...And feel it, too. You have a gift and I thank you for sharing it with the world.

Thank you for commenting on my blog so I could find you!
